Some members got together for the last Prayers and Squares workshop until August. Fabric was sorted, shorts and skirts were cut out. A lot was accomplished, the fellowship priceless.

Church members and members of our friends of Our Lady of Perpetual Help church came together to prepare for the Rummage Sale.
The sale begins on Thursday from 4 – 7 pm. Friday from 9 – 1 pm and Saturday (bag day) from 9 – 12 pm.
Our sincere thanks to all of our volunteers and the community for their generous donations.

She’s been married to her husband Dave for 47 years, has 3 sons (Stephen, Michael and Andy) and 11 grands
Most of you know she sings, but has also accompanied the Mexico Schools for almost 20 years.
She has a large garden in which she likes to work (pictured), and loves watching it come to bloom in the spring.

Starting Sunday May 5th we will be having Sunday School during the worship service every Sunday till mid June! Come and join us
Imagine no Racism presentations by Susan Ranous are scheduled for Sunday, June 23rd and 30th and July 21st and 28th following a light refreshment time in the Mowry Lounge. The sessions should last approximately 1 – 1 ½ hours. Susan will provide notes for us to copy (notes she will be following in her presentation). If the training can begin by 11:30, we should be done by 1:00. Susan said some will be shorter, depending on discussion or questions.
Community
The Alzheimer’s / Dementia Support Group meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 7:pm at the Cicero UMC. Their goal is to provide information to “newbie” caregivers and support for “veteran” caregivers. In May, they will host a guest speaker from the Alzheimer’s Association. Sunday, May 5th Freewill dinner from 4:30-5:30 at Trinity UMC consisting of chili, tossed salad, Italian bread, dessert and beverage.
Sunday, May 19th @ 5:00. Join us with our friends from Our Lady of Perpetual Help for our ecumenical potluck. Bring a dish to pass and stay for an rousing evening of Bunco….no experience necessary.
Opening soon is the Schneider – Shineman Community Garden at Faith United Church, 12 Mark Fitzgibbons Drive. Memberships ($25/year) are available. The beds are 4’ x 8’ raised.
